Philippians 4v19-20

19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 20 To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

God is our generous supplier and I'm excited to share with you all some of the amazing prayers and desires He has been answering lately! Be encouraged

A home

Since I've joined YWAM in 2019 I've loved how living in community has transformed how I see God and allowed me to grow. Community is such a key part of discipleship and learning to love other like Jesus, I've learnt so much!

A time came when I really desired to have a place to call home. Italy has become home for me, then the desire for a home to live in grew more and more. In 2022 the hope for a home grew in me a lot! I wanted to have a place to invite people in, for dinner, coffee and help poeple have a place to feel at home away from home. While being in missions people come from all over and I've personally experienced how comforting it can be to be invited into someone's home and have a chance to relax.

So in September 2024, after coming back from my time in Canada God fulfilled this desire and prayer! I recieved an apartment! A place to call home. I can see looking back how His timing in this season is perfect and how if I would've had an apartment sooner it would've been troublesome with the ministry he had called me to. Now in this season it really feels like perfect timing! Also because in the upcoming year I'll be getting married and having a house that me and my future wife will be able to move into is perfect. Which brings me to my next answered prayer

Fiancée

Yes! Lots of people have seen either in person, on Instagram or maybe you've heard through word of mouth, the news that I'll be getting married next year!

This is a big answered prayer from God! An incredible season of discovering God's love to a whole other level through being in a loving relationship. One that has God in the centre. A revelation to Proverbs 18v22

He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the LORD

Of course not my wife yet but my wife to be! A very exciting season for sure.

Middle East

In this last month we were able to fulfill a dream of ours here at Ywam Trentino. The dream being the desire to send a team of Italian missionaries to the Middle East. Why? We believe that within Italian and Middle Eastern culture there are many key connections that bridge the two together. Italians hold a big key in missions to reach some of the most unreached people on earth! Our heart is to make missions trips more available for people in Italy, desiring to cultivate more of a heart for missions and eventually see people committing their lives to serve God in the great commission.

There are a million things I could share about this short two week trip. We were able to serve at camps where thousands of people had to flee after ISIS had invaded and destroyed their homes. In these places where hope seemed to be scarce, we had the opportunity to share our lives with them, bringing the hope of Christ. We ran programs such as teaching English, volleyball, Italian cooking and even a beauty class! Through this we were able to share about our hope in God and how it’s for all people. Being there for such a short time we trust God to complete the work that He has started.

AMAZING FOOD

We were encouraged by legendary stories of missionaries who have dedicated their lives to seeing people reconciled back to God. Stories of radical freedom, healing and deliverance. Going, hearing and joining in the mission cultivated in our team a heart to serve God without limits or reservations.

In conclusion

I've been very encouraged being back home in Italy, God has lots of exciting things coming up as well! Please continue to keep me in your prayers and I look forward to serving God in missions for the coming years.

Thank you and be blessed!

-Lucas
