Hey! My name is Lucas, a 27 year old missionary from Manitoba, Canada. My missions journey started at the age of 21 when I decided that there must be more to life with Jesus than what my life looked like. I was in search of adventure with God. I found a missions movement called YWAM and that they did a snowboard & free-ski Discipleship Training School. This felt like the perfect way to deepen my faith and have fun along the way! Very quickly it was clear that I wasn’t at the school just to have fun but God was inviting me into a life of missions! Ever since then I’ve been a missionary serving God through helping disciple the next upcoming generation of believers and missionaries! First in Switzerland from 2019-2021 and now in Arco, Italy from 2021 until the present. I love to see people come alive and realize who God has made them to be!
Other things about me: I love being outside, sports, coffee, plants and cooking a good meal!
About us...
Hey! My name is Sonia, I’m half Italian and half polish, but I grew up in Verona, the city of love! Maybe you’ve heard about Romeo and Giulietta! That city. Since I was 16 years old I felt called into missions. I was young but I knew back then that God had something so much bigger than the career my family wanted for me. I was convinced that people needed Jesus more than anything else in life and I was and still am willing to go and tell them about a love so deep and sweet that can change everything! After a lot of short term missions trips, I decided to do a dts in Trentino. During this school I was asking God where He wanted to send me afterwards and what I felt was an invitation from God and also a question: “would you be willing to stay a while and see Italians mobilized into missions more than going for yourself?”. Of course I said yes. And now here we are.
Some things about me: I like being in nature, laughing with friends, having a full house, making food that makes people happy, talking with strangers and looking at flowers.
The Calling
We as a couple have a vision to see the young people of all nations be on fire for Jesus! To bring the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to every tribe and tongue. We have a big heart for the great commission the Lord called us to before he left earth. We’re excited for His return and because of this we are involved in discipleship training schools. Equipping and seeing the next generation of missionaries being raised up!

Our dream...
Is to see young people walking in the confidence of who God has made them to be. We believe walking in a strong sense of identity in Christ will empower believers to be unbound, free! To partake in the Great Commission. Out of a sense of belonging. Knowing God made them for a specific purpose and there is hope for them.
We’ve seen God move in BIG ways in the last years and we desire to continue to listen, obey and never give up. There’s much more we could say, but we’ll leave it at that for now. Maranatha!
